BHI is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Glen Canyon solar project contract. This sustainable initiative will provide renewable energy to power 10,100 homes annually, helping to reduce carbon emissions and preserve the environment for future generations.
The Glen Canyon renewable project will be a 95 MWac facility located on approximately 700 acres of a 1,560-acre site in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. BHI will oversee the entire project as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, responsible for all aspects of the project from engineering and site civil work to the installation of electrical equipment, inverters, transformers, tracker systems, and 220,0000 solar modules. Additionally, BHI will be responsible for site restoration upon completion of the project.
“We are thrilled to have been awarded the contract for the Glen Canyon project,” said Shan Miller, BHI Vice President of Renewables. “This project aligns perfectly with BHI’s mission of providing sustainable and innovative energy solutions to meet the growing demand for renewable energy in the United States.”
The Glen Canyon solar project serves as another example of BHI’s proven track record and commitment to providing a clean and sustainable energy source that positively impacts our customers, communities, and the environment. Named one of the top solar contractors in 2020, 2021 and 2022, BHI is the contractor of choice in the renewables industry.
